Description Toward Books Confessions (Private #4)

Sometimes the truth hurts....

Reed Brennan came to superposh Easton Academy to make a brand-new life for herself. At first it seemed as though her dream had come true-she was living in the ultraexclusive Billings Hall, hanging out with the all-powerful Billings Girls, and dating the very hot Thomas Pearson. But Thomas turned out to be different from what she thought...and then he turned up dead. And if that wasn't twisted enough, Reed's new boyfriend, Josh Hollis, was arrested for Thomas's murder.

Now everyone is back to worrying about the regular stuff, like how to sneak to the boys' dorms at night, whether two-ply cashmere is warm enough for fall, and whether to fly to London or Barcelona for Thanksgiving break.

Everyone except for Reed.

Reed is convinced that Josh is innocent, which means the killer is still out there. Now it's up to Reed to uncover the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more secrets she unearths and the closer she gets to the confession that will change everything...if she's alive to hear it.

This was a reread for me, but I still loved it. Even knowing what was going to happen, it was still exciting, and I liked looking for clues and hints I might have missed the first time around. This series is so well written too. There are no loose ends, and everything fits together nicely. The characters are great. Theyre complex and likable, yet with very realistic flaws. I liked getting to know Dash a little better in this one, and I enjoyed Cheyennes interactions with Noelle.

Ugh reed your annoying and the fact that some of the characters wont be returning is making me so sad!!! i love the billing girls and their fancy clothes and parties, yet now theyre all gone :( but that ending tho!!!! teen me would be screaming right about now dont really remember what happens after this so guess ill find out soon enough

I'm not sure whether to love or hate this book. On one hand it's far more exciting than any of the previous books in the series, but I just don't feel the author wrapped up the murder mystery very well. Although the first two books in the series bored me to tears and the murder mystery theme wasn't heavily promoted, I was really anxious to find out who the killer was. Then I found out and I was nothing short of disappointed. I figured the Billings Girls were involved somehow, even if they

Josh Hollis was arrested for the murder of Thomas Pearson.Time to move on, right? NAY!!Reed is convinced that Josh didn't do it. But how can she convinced everyone else?Meanwhile, Noelle has competition. Cheyenne Martin is willing to turn everybody against her. Will she succeed?DAMN!! This was the best Private novel so far!! And the ending . . .I didn't see that one coming!! SO TWIIIIIIISTEEEEDDDD . . .

The one where Reed gets a backbone! While it is all due to pretty crap circumstances - an imprisoned boyfriend (kinda), backstabbing friends, angry brothers, Reed grows so much in this book. I actually like her now that she doesn't spend the whole book groveling for approval. Even Noelle makes some large strides here in the good friend department (mostly). The changing attitudes towards and from the other Billings Girls is also so so so welcome. And the reveal of the killer....WHAT IS

#readingprivate This was unexpected i was spoil in the plotwist but eve if know who the real killer was it was fun to read and its kind of stoping point. So from this moment you can leave it here or continue with the series.

Title: ConfessionsAuthor: Kate BrianRating: 3/5I decided to read this book as I had read another book from the series and really enjoyed it so I thought I would give this one a try. I enjoyed this book as it was a bit of a murder mystery, one of my favourite kind of novels. Throughout the entire book it kept me on the edge of my seat and always kept me intrigued. At some stages it did get a bit boring but I kept pursuing through to get back to the good parts. It was also very short so I read it
