I still have this sitting on my shelf. I have read several others in this series, out of order obviously. I should start again from the beginning.
Karin Slaughter has such a knack for writing books that make you want to keep reading until youre finished. This book was such a page turner. A mix of love, deceit, rape, beatings, pimps, murder, and the price fame gives you. If you like heart pounding, page turning, heart stopping drama... then read this. Fantastic book. Was hoping the ending would have been a little different but still enjoyed it :)Slaughter reminds me of a female version of Harlan Coben!

4 StarsHeck Ya! 👏 In The Kept Woman, Will Trents past comes back to bite him (instead of Sara Lintons) and it aint pretty. An investigation into a murder scene at a warehouse brings Amanda Wagner, Faith Mitchell, Will Trent and GBIs newest medical examiner, Sara Linton to the scene. What they find is a WHOLE Lot of blood, along with a womans purse and lipstick, among other things. All of which are identified as being someone very well known to the team.
